200hr Modular Yoga Teacher Training in London
This is a unique opportunity to complete a 200 hour training under the guidance of 4 senior teachers over 5 months.
The syllabus draws from our teaching faculties combining 100+ years of teaching movement, meditation, mantra, massage and bodywork.
The objective of this course is to help you translate your own experience into sensitive and intuitive teaching.
THE COURSE
During our 5-month journey together, we will be able to deeply look at how and why we use this ancient art and science. This is a course of self discovery and exploring ancient and contemporary yoga, philosophy and anatomy. You will learn the art of sequencing, adjustment, intuitive movement, and guiding yoga and meditation practices. The approach is multi dimensional with the main emphasis on an inside-out understanding of yoga and meditation, and the importance of stillness and neutrality in the teaching role. Through applied anatomy and hands-on work, you will learn how to effectively body-read, palpate and safely adjust students in one-to-one and group classes. Sanskrit, Philosophy, Nada (sacred sound) and Yoga Nidra classes will further deepen the experience of yoga.. It will be highly experiential...and a lot of fun!
This inspirational course will run over 9 weekend modules at the Treehouse Yoga Studio in London, giving the group plenty of time to learn and assimilate the curriculum and teaching practicums. There is also the opportunity to practice and assist classes in London in-between the weekends.
On completion of the course there may also be teaching and training opportunities in India, London and Brazil as part of the Ashiyana Community.
