Acharya Yogesh

Acharya Yogesh’s teachings combine the therapeutic aspects of many different Yoga practices. Born in Rajkot, Gujarat, India, he completed his post-graduate Yoga Studies at the prestigious Kaivalyadhama, in Lonavala – one of the oldest and most traditional Yoga Institutes in India.

He has been teaching Yogic Philosophy, Anatomy and traditional Hatha Yoga for a number of years. As well as a master in Pranayamic and Shatkarma (cleansing) techniques, he specializes in Chakra Therapy/Cleansing and Balancing.

Yogesh has been practicing as an alternative holistic healing therapist, combining the disciplines of psychological counseling, Ayurveda, Chakra therapy, Mudra therapy, Yoga and Pranic healing for over ten years. On his philosophical and spiritual journey, he has studied numerous great seekers of the truth, such as Patanjali, Osho, Buddha, G.I. Gurdjieff, Lord Krishna, Sri Aurobindo, Adi Shankaracharya and many more…not only studying their philosophy but aligning his life to live in accordance with their essence.

Over these years, he has developed a scientific approach towards spiritual practices, seeking to combine the ‘Eastern feeling’ with the ‘Western mind’. When not teaching, Yogesh spends most of his time living in Osho or Gurdjieff communities.
