Linda d'Antal

“Freethinkers are those who are willing to use their minds without prejudice and without fearing to understand things that clash with their own customs, privileges, or beliefs. This state of mind is not common, but it is essential for right thinking...”

-Leo Tolstoy

Linda’s yoga studies began at the Institute for Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences in Bangalore in 1988. Whilst there she was introduced to yoga therapy and its role in healing. Prior to that she lived in Greece for 12 years and spent much time with the renowned gypsy herbalist Juliette de Bairacli Levy, who inspired her to study spiritual healing, naturopathy, iridology, and nutritional medicine.

Her deep love of yoga and interest in health and conscious living have led her to many more wonderful teachers, ashrams, and trainings around the world. Among these are Sivananda Vedanta, as staff in London, Canada and the Bahamas; the Yoga Biomedical Trust; Jivamukti; Richard Freeman; Uma Krishnamurthi; Donna Farhi; Rusty Wells; Max Strom; Marisol Kucharek; Andreas Wisniewski; Sundara; Miguel; Mooji; and each of her much loved students.

Linda is Director of Yoga at Ashiyana Yoga School. She is a qualified Yoga Therapist and has studied remedial and thai yoga massage. Linda has run a private yoga studio in London since 1990, and is on the teaching faculty of the Art of Contemporary Yoga. (AOCY).
